School Day

The school day is 8:45am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday. This is 6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours a week.

The school gates open at 8:40am when members of staff from the Pastoral Team, SEN staff and Senior Leadership Team are available to supervise children or to address any concerns you may have.

Reception and Key Stage 1

8:40am Gates open

8:45am Registration starts

8:55am Gates close

9:00am Registers close and whole school learning begins.

Children who arrive after 9.00am are classed as late.

10:30am Playtime

12:00pm Lunchtime

1:00pm Afternoon Registration and lessons begin.

3:15pm School ends

3:25pm Gates close

Key Stage 2

8:40am Gates open

11:15am Playtime

Please note:

Unaccompanied children should NOT arrive on the school site before 8:40am as there will be no adult supervision. Children who arrive early may be cared for by Breakfast Club until school starts at 8:45am and parents/carers will be charged £5 per half hour.

Children who are picked up after 3:30pm may be cared for by After School Club and parents/carers will be charged £5 per half hour. Please contact the school office if there is an emergency and you are unable to pickup your child on time. 

The pedestrian gate to Lewis Road is no longer in use. Access to the school is from the main entrance on Harlestone Road.
